Extravagant Spending on College Campus

     大学生无节制花钱

According to a survey, in recent years the monthly expenditure of a college student has been on the sharp rise. Many college students spend money like water and have no concept of thrift in their mind. They take it for granted that they spend money from their parents before they enter into the society. This extravagant spending is mainly caused by the following factors.

根据调查显示,近年来,大学生的月消费金额一直在急剧上升。很多大学生花钱如流水，根本没有节俭的概念。他们认为在他们踏进社会前向父母要钱是理所当然的。这种奢侈消费的现象主要是由于以下因素引起的。
First of all, nowadays most of students are the only children of their families. They are the apple in their family’s eyes and naturally get more care and pocket money. Secondly, with the improvement of living standard, parents can afford higher expenditure of their children. Thirdly, some students like to pursue fashion and trends, which tends to need more money. Finally, campus love is also a possible factor causing extravagant spending.

首先，现在很多学生都是独生儿女。他们是家里的宝贝，所以很自然能够得到更多的关心和零花钱。第二，随着生活水平的提高，父母可以支付孩子们越来越高的花销。第三，一些学生喜欢追逐时尚和潮流，所以就需要更多的钱。最后，校园爱情也可能是导致奢侈消费的一个因素。
From my point of view, a college student, as a pure consumer, should learn to be thrifty. We should not limit our expenditure on daily necessities but not buy whatever we want regardless of their prices. The habit of thrift can help us form right values and is favorable to our future development.

从我的观点来看,一个大学生,作为一个纯粹的消费者,应该学会节俭。我们不用节制我们在日用品上的花费，但是却不能忽视价格，只要是自己想要买的。
