英文简历常见写作误区
英文简历的三个误区
1.很多人认为自己的英文不好，也可以顺利制作英文简历吗？答案是肯定的。
2.英文简历不就是把中文简历翻译过来就行了吗？这个观念是错误的。中英文简历有很多不同，包括格式、文化和语言上的种.种不同，所以千万不要直接把中文简历做一下翻译直接了事。
3.有人说"英文简历描述得越详细越好"，这肯定是不正确的。英文简历的基本要求是专业简练，对求职者来说，目的明确，通俗易懂的语言表达是简历行之有效的基础。要如何做到呢？
4.英文简历的语言
忌讳长句
HR看你的简历不会超过1分钟，所以切记"YRIS"(Your resume is secanned, not read)的原则，在成千上万的简历中，HR没有时间和耐心去"拜读"你的简历。
使用行为动词
在简历中，行为动词让你听起来更有目的性，更有活力。
例如："Managed a team of 20 employees"就比"Was in charge of 20 employees"更有力度。
调整语法
虽然我们常觉得有千言万语要向招聘单位诉说，不过空间有限，简历写作的标准只允许你使用缩写句�？梢允÷跃渥拥闹饔�(I, my manager)、物主代词(my/mine,his/hers)有时甚至省略冠词(the/a)。如果要在一个句子中列出不只一个成就，你可以用"and"取代分号。
例如："我负责一项非常重要的项目，而且我的经理给予我奖励"就可以直接写成"Led key project and awarded by manager"。
用数字说话
为了凸显你过去的学习和经历，用数字直接表示你的业绩是最直接的手段。
其它示例：
修改前：I have researched and written online help and user manuals。
修改后：Developed online help and user manuals。
修改前：Launching new products was an important part of my job。
修改后：Instrumental in launching new products。
修改前：I easily understand technical matters。
修改后：Demonstrated ability to grasp technical matters。
修改前：My staff performed well under my supervision and I always made budget。
修改后：Successfully managed staff and resources within budget。
修改前：I received a research grant for 0,000.
修改后：Awarded 0,000 research grant。
修改前：I am very experienced at programming in C++ and Java。
修改后：Highly experienced programming C++ and Java。
修改前：I have worked on micro, mini and mainframe computers。
修改后：Computer platform experience includes micro, mini and mainframe。
修改前：I know Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel very well。
修改后：Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel。
修改前：I have often worked with UNIX and Windows NT。
修改后：Solid working knowledge of UNIX and Windows NT。
